If you have never added a nap to your training plan I hope that you are getting 7-8hrs of sleep a night.
Recovery is at minimum almost as important and some would say as important as swim, bike and run training. Next time you are feeling tired don't go for the caffeine. Substitute your lunchtime run or weights session for a 45min nap. Your body and mind will thank you for it.
